Use Cases
Use Case description as Activity Diagram

A good way to define the user story is to draw it as an activity diagram,
there are many templates which uniquely define the use case description, but most of them are in the form of a table or in bulleted forms; defining it as an activity diagram, becomes easier for every one to understand, the user will find it very easy to review, so will find the developers to understand.
framework – agile meetings
Creating a framework, which can exist.
daily agile meetings.
we started daily morning meeting few months back, the meetings were very much aspiring, every one was talking about what they have done, what they are going to do today, and discussing team problems, individual problems.
these meetings inspired team work, communication between them, knowledge sharing, problem solving. i used to chair the meetings, and at times delegating the task, and
refocusing them, if i see a change in focus. it went out good, till the time i was there, but when i was not there, these meetings became irregular, once we skip one meetings, things became irregular, we frequently started missing them. and in few weeks, we stopped doing that.
the reason i figured out was, my irregularity in conducting the meeting, i was the main motivator who was conducting the meets, and when i loose interest, things became loose, and finally wrecked.
it was a lesson for everyone in the team, the leader should be motivated enough all the time to keep the team spirits high. but leader himself is a human.
it was not the solution, we then introspected everyone in the team, the onus should lie not only on the leader but the whole team.
it was then realized that, the duty of leader is not only to keep the team spirit high, but to infuse enough inspiration, that they are SELF motivated all the time.
Now we have a framework, where no one is chairing the morning meetings, but individuals are inspired to talk about their work and pr
oblems to all present.
And every one has a moral responsibility to be there on time.
Above is the snapshot of the weekly scrum.
